The LDZ invites students to converge on college and university campuses around the country for eight-to-ten emotionally charged days where they will embark on a journey of self-discovery, connecting with other Latinos from high schools nationally and internationally.
A legislative format provides the forum for public debate, for ideas to be presented and challenged, and for innovative, inventive, and imaginative leaders to emerge. Students who exhibit these qualities form the LDZ community, compete for top leadership positions within the LDZ, and collaborate to articulate the beliefs of the newly-formed community.
