The Discover Spain Program focuses on the further internationalization of perspectives and beliefs as key to 21st century leadership.

The Discover Spain Program (DSP) in Salamanca, Spain is geared toward individuals who see themselves as having a long-term investment in shaping Latino views and perceptions in the 21st Century. In particular, NHI alumni who desire to expand their relationship within the National Hispanic Institute as future trainers and personnel, and/or, who are intending to continue exploring their role as a leader in the Latino community are invited to attend.

The DSP serves to highlight once again the power of positioning as students explore the culture and history of Spain. Central to the NHI dialogue, students are given the opportunity to reflect on their identity while exploring the the purest form of Spanish in Salamanca.

After attending the DSP, students benefit from:

• Academic and practical guidance to exploring and analyzing the dual cultures and societies
• Increased Spanish language writing and conversational skills
• First hand experiences with the extended global Latino community
