Why Donate?

 Why Donate?

From the beginning, the National Hispanic Institute (NHI) has operated under the view and belief that its primary sources of financial support must come from primary beneficiaries of its efforts-its alumni and various sectors that comprise Latino community life both domestically and internationally. Towards those ends, NHI alumni and the Latino business and professional sectors are looked to for support either through their gifts and contributions as well as the advocate efforts they play in supporting the institute’s programs.

Highly affordable student tuition and fee-based programs form approximately 75% of the organization’s operating revenues, while other gifts and contributions allow the organization to maintain a small scholarship program for needy students who wish to participate, support summer internship initiatives, and expand the work. Persons and former participants who realize the importance of the work being conducted are asked to visit our website for giving at www.nhi-net.org.
