PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY

NOTICE: The National Hispanic Institute cannot accept nor accommodate early arrivals to any Great Debate (YLC), LDZ, CWS, or Celebracion program prior to the first day of the program. If a student is traveling by vehicle, a parent/guardian must take the student to and from the program site. Individual participants are not allowed to bring their personal vehicles to the program. NO student is allowed to leave campus other than on supervised NHI activities. Aside from immediate parents/guardians, uninvited guests are not allowed on campus at anytime during the NHI program.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL DISCLOSURE: As a courtesy to participants, the National Hispanic Institute will offer transportation to students during designated arrival and departure times from airport, bus and train terminals. NHI staff will be in the baggage claim area during the designated times.

Please be aware if your student is arriving after the designated time he/she may have to wait 1 – 2 hours for an NHI staff person to arrive.

DESIGNATED TIMES ARE:

ARRIVALS: NHI will pick up students arriving between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

DEPARTURES: NHI will drop off all students between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Departing flights from airports should be scheduled after 2:00 PM in order to provide ample time to check baggage, pass security etc.

It will be the responsibility of the student and family to arrange for a shuttle or taxi to and from the university should the student arrive after the designated time.
